Lamar Odom has reportedly spoken to his children "for a few joyful moments" after waking from a coma . The NBA veteran and former reality star, who was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel on Tuesday after a three-day 'drink and drugs bender', had a ventilator removed on Friday and is now
using an oxygen mask. He has held short conversations with Destiny, 17, and Lamar Jr, 13, as he drifts in and out of sleep, according to HollywoodLife. And it seems that the whole family of former LA Laker Lamar has rallied around him. “He’s surrounded by his kids, aunts and cousins. His room is very peaceful and filled with love," a source told HollywoodLife. “He opens his eyes, talks softly to his kids for a few joyful moments and then goes back to sleep. “Everyone feels it’s honestly a miracle. There is no other explanation.”

Lamar, 35, was placed in a medical coma by doctors after reportedly suffering several strokes, a heart attack and organ failure and said to have been given a 50/50 chance of survival. However the chances of a recovery have substantially improved as he was given a supply of oxygen throughout, despite TMZ reporting that he was only taking 6-8 breaths a minute - with a normal rate being 12-20.
