Lamar Odom Looks Weak While Hooked Up To Various Machines On Stretcher — Pics

Newly-released pictures of Lamar Odom show just how serious his condition really is. Although the ex-NBA star has made great strides, he’s still very weak, and relying on many machines to help keep him alive. See the shocking pics of him being wheeled into the hospital here.

Lamar Odom is far from being out of the woods in his recovery. These new photos of the 35-year-old really get the point across that he still has a long road ahead of him, and it’s incredibly heartbreaking to see someone we know as so athletic and vibrant looking so fragile. Click inside to see.

The Father-In-Law

The pictures were taken when Lamar arrived at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles on Oct. 19 after spending six days at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas. The former Lakers star can be seen strapped into a stretcher while bundled up in a black sweatshirt and blanket, but it’s all the wires poking out of him that really make the whole thing disheartening. Not only does Lamar have an oxygen wire coming out of his nose, but we can see several other tubes flowing from various parts of his body. Although it appears the doctors did everything possible to make him comfortable — the stretcher includes multiple pillows and a large blanket — it’s pretty clear just how dire this situation is.

“He’s still really, really sick,” a source told Us Weekly. “There are a million things they’re doing to him still. He’s not doing well.” As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, it’s Lamar’s kidneys that are posing the biggest problem right now. He’s will continue on dialysis, but it’s not evident yet whether or not that will put him in the clear. He’s also fighting aspiration pneumonia, which is affecting his lungs.

But, still, there are some positive things happening, too. The former basketball star is reportedly “speaking full sentences and can swallow and eat food on his own.” Khloe Kardashian, 31, has been by his side throughout the entire ordeal, and, as we previously reported, plans to stick by him for the long road ahead.
