Watch Britney Spears rip her risqué leotard only to carry on performing

Poor Britney Spears suffered an on-stage wardrobe malfunction - but managed to handle it like a true pro.

The embarrassing incident happened when the singer was performing during her Piece of Me residency in Las Vegas over the weekend.

Brit had stepped out wearing a very sexy leotard, featuring a teasing mesh material and appropriately placed black panels.

 

Help was on the way

But as she belted out her 2009 single '3', the zipper on the back burst, leaving Britney in a bit of a pickle.

The rip left her back - and almost her bum - completely on show as she sang in front of thousands.

However it still wasn't enough for Britney to cool things down as she instead continued whipping out her best moves for the audience.

 

She showed off a lot of skin

Meanwhile several of her back-up dancers flocked to help but couldn't seem to fix the problem.

In the end the pop princess finished the track before racing backstage for a little assistance.

Obviously Britney's learnt not to sweat the small stuff after 16 years in the spotlight.

Last week the blonde beauty shared a picture of herself in the outfit with her fans on Instagram.

The 33-year-old was looking red hot in the number as she made a naughty hand gesture.

She captioned it: "I’m back, Vegas!! See you at #PieceOfMe tonight."

We doubt that Britney will be hanging her hand in shame, but if she is she can at least do it in her new mansion in Los Angeles .

According to reports, the songstress has forked out a whopping $7.4million for the pad to share with her two sons.

The estate includes five bedrooms, seven and a half bathrooms, a tennis court and an infinity pool.
